Profile

Kevin Rooney has a proven record of leading globally distributed teams to deliver complex, strategic technology projects with a high degree of innovation and quality. Specializing in enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, organizational data strategy, Agile methodology, and information security, he ensures projects are rooted in well-managed requirements and based on solid architectural principles. Kevin is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and certified AWS Solutions Architect.

Kevin has been with AIM since the inception of the consulting group in 2011 and has spearheaded the transformation of AIM into a leading consultancy in the Chicago, Denver, Houston, Minneapolis, and Seattle areas. Before AIM, Kevin led the Software and Cloud Services business at a large consultancy focused on productizing advanced industry solutions. He was responsible for architects, project managers, and developers across many diverse focus areas, including cloud computing, business intelligence, end-user computing, mobile, xRM, and application platforms. Kevin worked to standardize product lifecycle processes, including: requirements management, solution blueprinting, and estimating team on-boarding, and QA. His efforts led to more predictable delivery using a mixture of Agile and iterative methodologies.

In his spare time Kevin can be found cycling the streets of Seattle, skiing the slopes of Whistler, sailing throughout the Pacific Northwest, or traveling with his wife and 1 year old son.
