Eric is a program manager with nearly 20 years of experience in IT. He is proficient in project and technical program management and has worked in a variety of delivery leadership capacities within large retail and e-commerce companies where he has primarily focused on web and mobile application delivery.
Prior to AIM, Eric held a variety of positions at Nordstrom and Amazon. At Nordstrom he was a senior program manager where he managed a team of program managers who led IT projects. He and his team worked closely with Nordstrom product management to define business priorities and functional requirements. His team then partnered with numerous Nordstrom IT teams to deliver customer-facing and backend features for both the web and mobile applications. Eric managed the overall budgets and resourcing for each project, provided technical and project management guidance to his program management team and managed expectations with the senior Nordstrom business and technical leaders. Prior to Nordstrom Eric spent nearly 14 years at Amazon. His roles there included software development manager for Amazon’s US, Canada, France, Germany, UK, Japan, and China product pages, technical product/program manager for the US, Canada, France, Germany, UK and Japan Amazon homepages (e.g. www.amazon.com), technical/product program manager for the launch of subscription DVD rentals in the UK (one of the early competitors to Netflix) and program manager for the Books, Music, Video, DVD, and Digital product lines.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys watching live music, playing guitar. He’s also an avid football, basketball, and tennis fan.
