Gartner recently released a new Content Collaboration Platforms Magic Quadrant report and highlighted Box as the industry leader! This is due in large part to Box being able to successfully deliver in a variety of areas including usability, mobile enablement, internal and external collaboration, advanced security and data protection, and many integration options.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant is used to evaluate different vendors within a market segment and is divided into four sections: Niche Players, Visionaries, Challengers, and Leaders. Each company is measured according to the completeness of their vision and their respective ability to execute on said vision. This particular report represents the evolution of the Enterprise File Sync and Share report, which Box has been a leader in for the past three years.

Gartner has made some huge changes to how it evaluates content-related market segments this year. In particular, it has declared that enterprise content management systems are dying and the next big thing are content collaboration platforms. This is due to several factors, including digital transformation and constantly changing enterprise needs.

Box helps 64% of the Fortune 500 and more than 74,000 businesses with their cloud content management needs. Consequently, Box has been recognized as a leader by several other analyst companies, including Forrester, Aragon, Nucleus Research, and Ovum. Box is clearly well-positioned for future success in this growing market!
