Last week, AIM Consulting Seattle had the privilege of hosting a BeyondAgile Meetup for over 50 agilists and project management professionals. Attendees enjoyed food and drinks prior to listening to featured speaker Craig Larman, Co-Founder of LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum). His presentation focused on how large product groups can do more by adopting LeSS, and he began by exploring the purpose of LeSS, which is to expose the ineffectiveness of traditional large-scale organizational design. Craig then discussed how simplifying and streamlining a large product group through LeSS can help businesses optimize the gains in agility, learning, and value from Scrum.

Craig Larman Bio:

Craig Larman is the co-creator of Large-Scale Scrum, with his friend and colleague Bas Vodde. He works as an organizational design consultant, introducing LeSS with executive teams for very large and multisite product development (often, HW-SW systems). He also works with product management for highly complex product definitions, and hands-on as an embedded-systems legacy-code C and C++ TDD coach, to keep in touch with the real work and workers.
