With nearly 25 years of experience in software development, delivery leadership, and project management, Rick has built his career at the intersection of innovation and compliance. Nearly a decade of his experience was spent developing Class III–I medical software, both internal and external to the device, where he successfully implemented CI/CD pipelines and established DevSecOps practices in highly regulated environments.
As a Principal Consultant at AIM Consulting, Rick now helps organizations integrate modern engineering excellence practices, including Continuous AI Governance, into their delivery pipelines. His work focuses on enabling clients to adopt AI responsibly by embedding regulatory, ethical, and operational safeguards directly into their development lifecycles.
Driven by his background as a Quality Engineer operating under a consent decree, Rick remains passionate about creating frameworks that allow teams to move quickly and confidently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, transparency, and compliance.
