James is a Sr. Consultant of Delivery Leadership at AIM. His specialties include Agile processes and adoption in organizations. He’s worked through projects heavy in Data Science and UI/UX as a TPM. Strengths include stakeholder alignment and driving towards measurable deliverables of product increments.
Before AIM, James spent time at Starbucks and was involved in developing the backlog for the Automated Ordering for Food Lobby, then managing that through Agile processes. Before Starbucks, James was at Disney working as a TPM/SM on the Enterprise Data Hub. He also did a stretch at the University of Washington, working on a project funded by the Gates Foundation grant to help students plan their academic careers, where he was both PM and BA.
James grew up in Okinawa as part of an Army family, finally settling in Seattle for college. He went to the University of Washington for both undergraduate and graduate school, receiving a BA in Business Administration – Information Systems and an MS in Information Systems.
