Jeff is a software development and technology executive passionate about leveraging technology and great people to deliver for his customers. With over 25 years of software development, engineering, and leadership expertise, he is a seasoned leader in both mission critical, high volume enterprise e-commerce sites and lean start-ups. Jeff mentors and coaches lean and agile development principles and practices as a means for achieving this value centric delivery. He has guided small and large enterprise organizations through lean-agile process conversions. By developing exceptional people, leveraging great technology, relentless reflection and improvement, his teams have a proven track record for delivery, high morale and collaboration across multiple worldwide geographic locations on mission critical in e-commerce, search, aerospace, banking, healthcare, security, and digital media.
Prior to AIM, he was the VP of Engineering at Navigating Cancer where he was responsible for all of the company’s software development and IT. Additionally, he was the Senior Director of Application Development at Getty Images where he spearheaded the development of Getty’s primary high-volume consumer sites utilizing test-driven and agile methodologies. There he led the enterprise transformation of 30 IT teams from waterfall to Lean-Agile. Jeff has a variety of patents in computer-based communication systems. He graduated with degrees in Mathematical and Computer Sciences from the University of Washington.
Jeff loves to cook accompanied by great tunes and a nice glass of wine. When the sun is out, you will find him outside – camping, hiking, and hitting the local beaches. He loves yoga and running as well. Most of Jeff’s free time is spent with his family, and kids doing any or all of the activities above, and almost always, with the music on…
