VersionOne Releases the 11th Annual State of Agile Report
VersionOne, an all-in-one enterprise agile solutions company, recently released its 11th annual State of Agile report. This report has become the largest, longest-running, most widely cited agile survey in the world and helps give technology professionals more insight into agile trends, best practices, and case studies to help them successfully implement agile transformations.
The report contains a lot of interesting information about agile across different companies and industries. For instance, 98% of respondents realized success from agile projects, yet 60% of companies have less than half of their teams practicing agile. Moreover, 80% of companies are at or below the “still maturing” level with agile. Respondents also continued to cite the same top three benefits of adopting agile for the sixth year in a row, namely: the ability to manage changing priorities, increased team productivity, and improved project visibility.
