Salary range: $68,000 – $95,000

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the team projects and assignments and may help manage the daily workflow of staff on the team.
  • Partner with your AIM business units and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
  • Consult with AIM management and provide HR guidance when appropriate, including talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Attends and participates in employee relation matters, including terminations and investigations.
  • Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Manage employee disciplinary issues and advise business leaders on how to manage each case.
  • Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR operations, and other HR teams to implement solutions.
  • Drive employee engagement agenda
  • Maintains compliance and trains business units on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends and implements best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Experience in Immigration/visa and visa transfers.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of working HR experience ensuring alignment with national, state, federal, and local regulations.
  • Experience with performance management, employee relations & concerns. Proven experience in managing workplace issues and recommending appropriate actions forward. Assisted in employee separations and exit interviews and ensured compliance with termination procedures.
  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently. Communicate policy changes to employees and provide guidance on adherence.
  • Analytical and data management skills with experience translating data into action planning.
  • Immigration and Visa Experience.Knowledge of state parental leave mandates, ADA, HIPAA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA, municipality Sick and PTO laws.
  • Ability to act with integrity, maturity, professionalism, and confidentiality. and experience building relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for DEI.
  • Working knowledge of visa types, transfers, and sponsorship.
