Overview
Our Delivery Leadership Practice is a world-class team of experts who lead agile engagements across industries and care deeply about the long-term success of our client’s solutions and processes. We are rooted in technology, people and processes – our goal is to bring leadership, organization, and strong communication to all engagements in order to forge strong client relationships, help mature our clients’ organizations, and lead the delivery efforts of our cross-functional teams.

The Principal Consultant is responsible for leading large-scale, multi-faceted engagements with a focus on building excellent client relationships, delivering exceptional results, providing thought leadership, and fostering team growth. This role is central to driving transformational outcomes for clients, particularly in Project-to-Product transformations, Agile transformations, and Organizational Change Management (OCM). In addition to leading engagements, the Principal Consultant will contribute to strategic planning, sales efforts, practice development, and team culture, while maintaining a strong executive presence.
The salary range for this role is $180K/yr – $225K/yr + Bonus.
Day-to-day, you will:
Lead Projects
- Drive and execute complex transformation engagements, including Agile, Project-to-Product, and OCM initiatives, tailored to client needs.
- Apply Agile/Product leadership and OCM strategies to meet commitments on time and on budget.
- Coach organizations from enterprise-wide Agile/Product adoption to team-level Agile maturity improvements.
- Monitor KPIs, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment across all active projects.
- Engagement Management:
- Oversee a portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with client expectations, providing escalation support, and driving successful outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership to clients, shaping their strategies and aligning them with industry best practices.
Business Development
- Partner with the business development team and other consulting leaders to identify and secure consulting opportunities.
- Craft and deliver compelling proposals, statements of work, and presentations to win new engagements.
Client Engagement
- Build community and meaningful connections between consultants and clients to foster trust and create a positive consulting experience.
Consultant Management
- Hire, develop, and mentor a team of consultants to deliver exceptional results while maintaining highly rewarding and enjoyable consulting experiences.
- Optimize consultant utilization and ensure alignment of skills with client needs.
Practice Development
- Innovate and enhance Delivery Leadership offerings with best practices, market insights, and client demand trends.
- Create reusable collateral, including thought leadership artifacts, frameworks, and tools, to support delivery, marketing, and business development efforts.
- Actively contribute to achieving regional objectives and key results (OKRs).
Thought Leadership
- Publish articles, deliver presentations, and speak at events to showcase expertise in Delivery Leadership, Agile, Product, and OCM.
About You
You are passionate about driving client success through transformational change and have a proven ability to deliver impactful outcomes in Agile, Product, and OCM spaces. You thrive in collaborative, high-impact environments, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution. You are a natural leader with a strong executive presence and a talent for building teams, inspiring others, and fostering community.
Your knowledge and skillset likely include the following:
- 10+ years of experience in management and technology consulting, including work with enterprise clients.
- Proven track record of leading Agile and Project-to-Product transformations with disciplined OCM practices.
- Experience managing engagements from small teams to enterprise-wide programs.
- Demonstrated success in business development, including creating and selling consulting engagements.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams of individual contributors.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, both oral and written, to influence and align with senior stakeholders.
- Industry-recognized Agile, Product, and OCM certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
